New Life PC Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Unloading

It is time for our Annual Pumpkin Patch!

Once again, we are partnering with Pumpkin Patch Fundraisers (PPF). These pumpkins grow on the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico, where 95% of the farm workers are Native American. PPF has a full-time farm staff of 30 people and their seasonal staff exceeds 600, in a region with 43% unemployment, and a median family income of $20,000.

PPF uses sustainable agricultural practices, including crop rotation, cover crops, and soil-mapping technology. All Pumpkin Patch products are non-GMO.

While it would be nice if the pumpkins could unload themselves onto our lawn, they don't. So, we need all hands on deck to unload the pumpkins off the truck. This is a great time for fellowship, fun, and laughter!
