Vibrant Outreach
First Saturday Serve is happening Saturday, June 4! See projects below:
1) Love the Block - 10:30am-1pm (approx). Join our inner-city kids ministry team as they minister to kids in one of the Columbus Housing Authority sites (meet there - see address in signup). Wear your Red SERVE shirts and don't forget the basics like a water bottle, sunscreen, etc as needed.
**All groups are open to anyone to serve except for Love the Block. Since Love the Block is a kids ministry in which child safety is a top priority, everyone over 18 years of age must have cleared a background check prior to serving. This is a quick, easy, and free process. Just email [email protected] if we can help you with this step.
**This does not include children under age 18 since children/teens are always welcome to attend with a parent or other designated adult.
2) Vitalant Blood Drive @ Vibrant in the Blood Mobile - 9am-12pm: Click here to be redirected to the Vitalant site to register! Thank you for giving LIFE today by giving blood!
3) Love My Church @ Vibrant 9-10am: We always have a few housekeeping things to do around the facility to keep things spruced up and running well! If you can do some light cleaning or organizational projects, then this is the group for you!
Ongoing ALL Summer:
Our first ever Back to School Bash sponsored by Jockey Being Family and hosted by Vibrant Church happens Friday night, August 5! This event will welcome Foster and Post-Adoptive Families for a night of fun, food, connection, and resources like school supplies and various information. We invite you to Volunteer on August 5 and also to drop-off the below listed school supplies anytime as described below (any amount is great!). Although there are slots and a date/time listed below, please know that we will have the Outreach collection box at our Lobby display all June and July. You can also DONATE financially!
