Customer Service Team Duties & Responsibilities
Customer service volunteers are engaged year-round, provides general office support to the Auction operation including greeting visitors, entering data, processing donations, responding to email and telephone inquiries from Auction donors and bidders, and much more
Customer service volunteer needs are greatest During Auction events; team members greet visitors during Auction and at Pick Up & Pay, respond to a variety of inquiries leading up to, during, and following Auction events including “how-to” bid information, winning bid confirmation via telephone, and troubleshooting
Any number of volunteer interests, skills and experiences serve this team well, including “people skills,” customer service experience, familiarity with MS Excel and Word and the internet
Position involves a variety of physical activities including sitting, working at a computer keyboard and screen, standing, walking occasionally carrying office supplies
