HELP!!! If you are in Girdwood Wednesday, Connor and Alex REALLY need help. Please sign up and show up!! Things need to be moved from the storage areas to the catbox so that mountain staff can bring them up to the venue Wednesday night.

The event organizer will handle the athlete check in process into the IFSA spreadsheet. We will need 2 volunteers to hand out the registration packet to athletes, assign them a bib and collect a bib deposit.

The lunch crew will be responsible in preparing sack lunches for the on-snow crew and delivering lunches. They may also be asked to run other gear or athlete scorecards down to the base area. (Contact event organizer for detailed times and duties.)

Photographer (South Face 11:00-11:15 thru comp end)

We believe people will take pictures from the base area. We would like one photographer to capture photos of athletes in action that we can use for future event posters and websites.

Score Keeper (noon-5:00 RTC)

The scorekeeper enters athletes scores into a spreadsheet during the comp days. The scores are brought down by runners (lunch crew). You cannot watch the event if you are the scorekeeper.

Starter (Top of South Face, 11:00-11:15 thru comp end) (2)

The starter communicates with the judges and other event staff which athlete is in the gate and sends the athlete when the judges are ready. We typically plan on rotating two starters so they can take a break for lunch and bathroom.

On venue videographer - Need an event radio and a bright bib or jacket.

Make contacts with local media (newspaper and TV stations) before the event and provide results, photographs and video content for them after the event.

Finish Chute Receiver/injury triage (Finish Shoot 11:00-11:15 thru comp end)

~ 11:00 - 4:00 Be present at the finish chute to congratulate athletes on their run and hold them for ski patrol evaluation as indicated.
