To request a field trip time, date, and subject please sign-up below. You are not officially registered until you receive confirmation via email. Field trips are available with an AM or PM section. Hoppe park, located next to the Watershed, is available if you would like to extend your trip with a picnic lunch.
Field trips this Spring are reserved for 1st-grade, 2nd-grade, and 3rd-grade classes. To provide the best field trip experience each field trip time slot is limited to 30 students.
The cost for field trips is $5 per student, adults are free.

Animal Homes (1st & 2nd Grade): Students learn that animals have specific habitat requirements that fulfill their needs for food, water, shelter, and space. Students will also take an exploratory hike to see what if we can spot any animal homes.
Spring Wetlands (3rd grade)
What are wetlands? Students will take an exploratory hike through the wetlands to see what plants and animals call wetlands home. Students will also learn the important part that wetlands play in keeping our water clean. Students learn about wetlands through the use of metaphors and hands-on experiments. We will finish this program with a food chain game to show how all organisms in wetlands are connected to each other. This program is approximately 2 hours.
