2022 September Volunteer Opportunities

Summer is winding down. We will be prepping the farm for fall and winter. Tasks may include weeding, preparing beds for winter, farm clean-up, and more! Wear comfortable clothes you can work in and get dirty. We will be out there in most weather, but will send an email notice in case of weather cancellation. Children of all ages are welcome to non-harvest volunteer sessions!

Located at 145 Pine St, follow the 1/4 mile dirt road until you reach a parking lot next to a big field.

We reccomend bringing work gloves, but we do have some on site if you do not have any. Bring water and snacks.

We also have twice per week harvest sessions. Children must be at least 15 years old to participate in harvest sessions.

Youth under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Unvaccinated individuals need to wear a mask. If we need to cancel due to weather, you will be notified by email at least 2 hours ahead of time.

All volunteers must complete a general waiver AND a COVID-19 waiver before coming out to the farm. Please complete BOTH waivers online before coming to volunteer on the farm: https://www.needhamfarm.org/waivers
