Vine Maple Place Food Provision
The Meals-in-a-Bag program is a great way to support family stability and help families to stretch their food budgets through pre-designed meal options. Meals-in-a-Bag include an easy to follow recipe with all the ingredients needed to prepare the meal. To participate, please sign-up for the number of bags you would like to donate and the week you would like to drop off your donation. You then follow these steps:
1. Visit 600680_529899_MealinaBagInstructionsRecipes.2020.docx.pdf (bloqs.s3.amazonaws.com) and select a recipe(s).
2. Collect the ingredients listed in the recipe(s) for the quantity of bags you would like to donate.
3. In a brown paper grocery bag, place the ingredients needed to complete one Meal-in-a-Bag. There should be ingredients for just one Meal-in-a-Bag in each brown grocery bag.
4. Photocopy or print the Meal-in-a-Bag recipe that you are creating and staple it to the bag.
5. Return your completed Meal-in-a-Bag(s) to the appropriate Vine Maple Place location between 8:30am – 5PM, Monday - Friday.
