What is 6th Grade Cougar Kids Night?
6th Grade Cougar Kids Night is a fun event for your middle school student (grade 6 only) where there is music, dancing, various games, basketball, gaga ball, and food. This event is similar to the KNO event in the past, but is limited to just 6th graders. A similar event was previously held for the 7th grade.
What do I need to know about chaperoning for 6th Grade Cougar Kids Night?
We need at least 50 volunteers to make this night a success. Volunteers are asked to arrive at the middle school between 6 and 6:10 on the evening of the event. Upon arrival you will be provided additional instructions on where to go, which activities you will be chaperoning, and what you should do for each activity. No previous experience is required and school clearances are helpful, but not required. We will station the chaperones throughout the dance, gym areas, food, and bathroom areas. We will use other chaperones to work the various game stations.
