Worship & Sunday School
Zion's policy is to follow the advice of the Minnesota Department of Health and the CDC regarding indoor gatherings. They are the experts and have the best understanding of how to protect the public which includes our members and attenders.
When you sign up, please select all the places your family will attend this Sunday. For example, 9am worship AND family Sunday school.
In order to maintain space for physical distancing, sign up and seating is by household groups, with one household group in each seating area. A household group should check in together on Sunday to sit together. Please wear a face covering as required by Executive Order 20-81.
Complete guidelines can be found at https://zionbuffalo.org/guidelines/
Worship in the Sanctuary
Worship will include scripture, sermon, prayer and music, and some details may change from week to week.
- Please follow the directions of ushers/greeters/staff and to maintain at least 6 feet distance from other households.
- Ushers will escort one household at a time to their preferred seating section (as space allows) in the sanctuary. Please cooperate with our greeters as they seat family groups, even you don't end up in your 'usual' pew.
If all seating areas are filled for sanctuary worship, you are invited to join us for 10am online worship or 10:30 drive-in worship.
Family Sunday School in Trinity Hall
If you are arriving for family Sunday school and have not already checked in for 9am worship, please check your household in under the canopy and go directly to Trinity Hall. You will pick up supplies and chairs, and space yourselves out in Trinity Hall.
If all seating areas are filled for Sunday school, you are invited to join us for at-home Sunday school, available from 8am in the ZionBuffalo KiDS Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ZionKiDS.
If you have problems with the webform, please email [email protected]
Those who are at higher risk for severe illness (age 65 and older, or with underlying medical conditions such as severe asthma, chronic lung disease, serious heart conditions, diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, immunocompromised) are strongly encouraged to stay home and not participate in any group gatherings involving people outside of their immediate household. If you are at higher risk, consider staying home and participating in online worship during this time.
If you RSVP for worship and then decide not to attend for any reason, please let us know so that your seats can be released to someone else.
