Huron-Clinton Metroparks

Invasive species observation

Help your Metroparks track down invasive species by recording your observations!

This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to learn more about and help the environment. Every month, we will share a new invasive species with you. Learn its impact on our natural areas and how to identify the species and then go out and look! While out in the parks, keep an eye out and let us know what you see by filling out our survey form. Find the survey by clicking this link https://arcg.is/1b48vC0 You can access this from your phone, tablet, or computer and you do not need to create an account. You will be asked what species you saw, the location, how many, a picture if you have one, and any other information you would like to include. We will use your observations to respond to new invasive threats and monitor the existing ones. With more than 24,000 acres to manage, we appreciate your eyes on our trails to help us keep the Metroparks beautiful!

Please only look for these species from the trail or roadside. Stepping off the trail can result in the spread of more invasive species! You can report your sightings using our online survey form (link https://arcg.is/1b48vC0).

Please sign-up for this activity so we can send you more information directly. Thank you!
