Spring Lake Church has the opportunity to host Park Outreach Nights at St. John's Park on Thursdays throughout the summer! Other churches and organizations cover other weekdays, but SLC has committed to the Thursdays you see in the sign up below. We need Spring Lakers to get involved to help host!
HOSTING: What does it look like to host? Hosting a Park Outreach Night includes 2 parts; Meals Team and Engagement Team. Meals Team prepares and serves a meal at St. John's Park (for 50-75 people). SLC helps cover food costs and will help provide needed supplies. Engagement Team spends time interacting and building relationships with guests by playing yard games or card games, sitting and talking with guests, or other activities.
GROUP SIGN UPS: PLEASE sign up as a group (ONE leader sign up on behalf of your group). If you have a large group, please sign up for both the Meal & Engagement Team for the night you choose. If you have a smaller group, you can choose to sign up for either the Meal OR Engagement Team and allow another smaller group to sign up for the other. First, choose the date that your group would like to serve and click SIGN UP. Put ONE main contact/group leader name and contact information, then add the number of group members (or an estimate). When you sign up, the main contact listed will be contacted with additional details prior to your group's scheduled date.
INDIVIDUALS: If you are not part of a group but would like to help out, we would love for you to join us! You can come and join at the park on any date as part of the Engagement Team (no sign up needed).
