UAMS IPE Students
YOU MUST ALSO BE ENROLLED IN GUS: IPE IPEC 1701 Competence Student Educator Activity at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the event you are participating in.
If you are not enrolled in the GUS course by that time, you will *not* be able to participate and must sign up for a different event on a different date.
Core Activity ##7
This is an opportunity to complete an IPE COMPETENCE phase requirement - the STUDENT EDUCATOR activity. Students from multiple UAMS colleges will assist as facilitators for Exposure Phase Bridge Activity Movie Night.
YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY COMPLETED THE EXPOSURE Phase BRIDGE REQUIREMENT TO SERVE AS A STUDENT EDUCATOR AT THIS EVENT.
Students serving as STUDENT EDUCATOR will assist in facilitating the movie night process as students from multiple UAMS colleges participate in an interprofessional group discussions. Some of your responsibilities will include:
**Assist with pre-event activities (pre-test, introductions, etc.)
**Presentation of PowerPoint slides
**Give directions on submitting reflections/verification forms into Blackboard
**Serve as a group discussion lead
Multiple dates, times and movies are available. Select "Sign up" for your college, then click "Submit and Sign Up" to go to the sign up page. Only sign up for one session.
You must sign up by noon, seven day prior to the event (aka: if the movie is on Aug. 16, you must sign up by noon on Aug. 09)

(Be sure to register for an event that is approved for your College/Program.)
*To participate, you MUST have a camera and microphone to connect Online. When connected during discussion, you MUST have your video turned on so the facilitator can see you. Because we are doing large groups and want all to be able to see one other for participation, you should use a laptop or computer with webcam as preferred method. An iPad or similar size tablet is acceptable, but phones are not recommended.
