Farmers To Families

The Levite Jewish Community Center and Collat Jewish Family Services are partnering with Forestwood Farm to provide 500 fresh produce and dairy boxes for those in need on Wednesday, May 20 from 9-11 am at the LJCC (3960 Montclair Road). There will be no questions asked and no qualifications to pick up a food box.

To do this we will need volunteers to help!

Set up: We need some strong early risers to come to help us get ready starting at 7 AM.

Distribution/Traffic Control/Greeter: Distribution volunteers will need some muscles. They will be living boxes and putting them into the cars. Traffic controllers will be directing cars, you will be on your feet but no heavy lifting. Our Greeters will walk up and down the car line with a smile on their faces talking to people who come by. The lines could get long so our greeters will keep people smiling!

PLEASE NOTE:

All volunteers must:

  • supply their own mask.
  • Be willing to get their temperature taken upon arrival.
  • Not show symptoms of illness of any kind.
