Maundy Thursday April 6 Seder Meal
Those who belong to the Jewish family of faith celebrate the Passover each spring. The Passover story, as recorded in Exodus, is re-enacted through the rituals of a special meal called a Seder. On the night of his betrayal, Jesus and his disciples celebrated a Seder meal in observance of the Passover. Christian tradition says that during the Third Cup of the Seder, Jesus spoke what we have come to know as the Words of Institution.
Maundy Thursday, April 6, we will have a Seder at 6 pm, incorporating the ritual foods within a full meal.
