The Science of Sound Hands-on STEM Program

All the cool things about sound!

This STEM program taught by Peter Johnson, a science teacher will challenge kids ages 6 and up. 

Demonstrations and hands-on activities will include: The silence in a vacuum waves, making interesting patterns with different frequencies (Resonance), turning an entire table into a big speaker! Can sound bend a laser beam? Can we create sound waves with slinkies? What interesting sounds can we make with common objects?  String and Cup telephones, log drums and more!
