2018 SSPP Fall Gala
Dear SSPP Families,
What an exciting time for SS Peter and Paul! We are looking forward to celebrating our 8th Annual Fall Gala and we need your help. This year's Gala will be held on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at Avante Banquets in Fox River Grove!
Part of the Gala includes many silent auction items with donations coming from YOU, our SSPP families. We look forward to receiving your donation and appreciate anything you can give, large or small. We've made it easy to see ideas that you can give by clicking on our link to our Sign-Up Genius/ Virtual Giving Tree. All Gala proceeds benefit the Capital Improvement Fund of the SS Peter and Paul Community. We are excited to announce this year’s proceeds will be going to the consideration of multiple visible upgrades to Parish space in the church and helping to build on the STEM program in the school.
Your purchased donations can be brought to the school or church office. We will collect and prepare them to be auctioned off the evening of the Gala. If you would like to donate an item you are uncomfortable dropping off, due to worth, size or fragile in nature, please contact us or any Gala committee member and we will make arrangements to pick up from you another way. We are requesting all donations be made by October 12th.
*If you are interested in donating a gift card, please consider using the Scrip program to purchase it! The gift card you purchase through the program generates rebates from the participating retailers that go back to the school! You can get these scrip cards after masses at the table in the gathering space or by visiting the website at: https://www.shopwithscrip.com . ;If you have any questions regarding the scrip program or how to acquire a card you can contact our scrip coordinator Rebecca Tabor at: 630-765-0830 or [email protected]. NOTE: All of the giftcards listed are available through the scrip program except the few marked with an *.
~We are bringing back classroom baskets! Each grade in the school will have a themed basket to create and there are items on this list that can help fill those baskets. Please choose an item that pertains to your child's classroom theme or you can choose to contribute a monetary donation to go towards that basket (c/o Morgan Weber in 4A). Also, consider pooling resources with another family in that class if there is a larger value item you are interested in donating. Make sure to include your family name with your contribution so we know who to thank under each basket listing! Donated items must be in new/unused condition.
Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
