Necessity Bags 2021

Thank you for volunteering with the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center!

In March 2020 we received funding to deliver 19 pound bags of non-perishable groceries to Franklin Co. seniors March 2020 -July 2020. We received additional funding to have this program again October-December 2020. We are excited to share we have received funding AGAIN and will run this program April 2021-August 2021. 

We will pack these bags in a new-to-us space at 3232 N. High, the old Clintonville Dental space. Bags will be packed on Mondays and delivered on Tuesday mornings. Bags should be picked up on Tuesday morning and delivered no later than 2pm. It's important to get these bags delivered when promised so as not to cause stess for our seniors. 

The signups are divided into Group 2, Group 3, and Group 4. If you consistently sign up for a particular "Group" I will do my best to give you the same route each time. The only reason that would change is if you skip a month--which is fine!! :) If you can sign up each month though it's pretty great because the senior gets to know a new face and you can keep tabs on them a bit. 

If you sign up to pack bags I will show you what to put in them and how to pack them so they stay upright in our volunteer's cars as they make deliveries. You would be packing bags on your own in the Annex II aside from my quick overview.
