Thank you so much for your willingness to provide box dinners to the individuals at The Road Home's Midvale Family Center. We are so grateful for your support!
During this especially hectic time, we want to make sure everyone at The Road Home will have the chance to eat. We do not have any dietary restrictions. In each box dinner please provide:
One Main Dish: single serving, pre-packaged item or frozen foods (rice bowls with protein such as chicken, noodle soup bowls, burritos/enchiladas, mac n' cheese, etc). Hot foods prepared in a restaurant or commercial kitchen are also acceptable (Please be sure to keep these at appropriate temperatures in transit). Each meal MUST be individually packaged.
Two sides (veggies, fruit, etc.)
One dessert (optional)
One beverage (optional)
Please avoid using tinfoil to wrap meals. Instead consider plastic wrap, styrofoam, bags, boxes, plastic containers, etc.
Please bring the pre-made box dinners to the Midvale location on your assigned day between 4:45 PM - 5:45 PM. Please deliver frozen items and items from restaurants at 5:45PM. Dinner is served at 6PM. The Midvale Shelter is located at 529 West 9th Avenue.
Covid 19: Please be super cautious when preparing food. Ensure that all surfaces are sanitized well, wash your hands thoroughly, and wear a mask, and if possible, wear gloves. For the safety of our guests we ask that you do NOT participate if you have been sick or experienced cough, fever or shortness of breath within 24 hours of your scheduled shift.
**Please note that due to privacy and confidentiality, staff will be distributing the box dinners**
Thank you again!
