Thank you so much for your willingness to provide box dinners to the individuals at The Road Home's Midvale Family Center. We are so grateful for your support!
During this especially hectic time, we want to make sure everyone at The Road Home will have the chance to eat. We do not have any dietary restrictions. We ask for a certain number of box dinners per day, please check for current number of dinners prior to purchasing food. Each meal MUST be individually packaged (we do not currently have the capacity to safely dish up food). In each box dinner please provide:
One Main Dish: single serving, pre-packaged item (individual microwaveable mac 'n' cheese, cup of noodle, ramen, rice etc.) or something hot (Paninis, Philli Cheesesteaks, grilled ham & cheese, burgers pizza or chicken nuggets wrapped in tin foil). Remember each meal MUST be individually packaged.
Two sides (veggies, veggie chips, fruit, fruit snacks etc.)
One dessert (optional)
One beverage (optional)
If you decide to bring hot food items, please leave a comment or send an email to let us know what you are bringing the week before service so that we can have it listed on the calendar and make sure it is served immediately.
Please bring the pre-made box dinners to the Midvale location on your assigned day between 5:45 PM - 6:45 PM. Please deliver hot items as close to 6:45PM as possible. Dinner is served at 7PM. The Midvale Shelter is located at 529 West 9th Avenue.
Covid 19: Please be super cautious when preparing food. Ensure that all surfaces are sanitized well, wash your hands thoroughly, and wear a mask and gloves if possible. For the safety of our guests we ask that you do NOT participate if you have been sick or experienced cough, fever or shortness of breath within 24 hours of your scheduled shift.
**Please note that due to privacy and confidentiality, staff will be distributing the box dinners**
Thank you again!
