Thank you for wanting to provide Easter baskets for the kids we are serving! They are a really fun opportunity for groups or individuals. The baskets you make will go to kids staying in our Midvale Family Center, Palmer Court (Permanent Supportive Housing).
This leads to 300-400 total baskets needed! You can choose how many you would like to make, we ask that they are labeled by age, wrapped in cellophane (so we can transport them to the Midvale Family Center on Easter weekend), then delivered to our downtown Salt Lake City location (210 South Rio Grande Street) no later than Friday April 12th, 2018. This sign up is organized by current numbers of kids by age. Please choose a group based on the number of baskets you would like to assemble.
You can make the baskets as intricate as you would like and can include items such as games, toys, books, stuffed animals, candy, art supplies, etc. in the baskets. For example, in a basket for a 14 year old girl you could put a book, some makeup, candy and some fun socks. Or in a basket for a 1 year old boy you could put a book, teddy bear, teething ring and a blanket.
There are a few items that we ask to be left out of the baskets, including: gum, silly putty, slime, microwave popcorn, scissors, and any toys that resemble weapons.
Thank you so much, we look forward to working with you! Please reach out to Alexa if you have any questions, at: [email protected], or at [email protected]
