Thank you for volunteering your time and talent for the Cooperative Extension Service at the Alaska State Fair. Every year we look forward to having 4-H leaders and members encourage others to experience 4-H; Strongwomen, Family and Community Education (FCE), and Food Preservation volunteers share their knowledge; and Master Gardeners to share their gardening experience. It is a way to extend Cooperative Extension Service with the community.
2 ADULTS are needed per shift. Please put only ONE NAME per slot. Shifts are 3.25 hours in length.
4-H children are encouraged to assist adults. Sign up the adult volunteer, then place the 4-H child's name in the additional comments field. We encourage all to try and make this a family experience. Children may not be left unattended.
One Fair ticket per adult for day of time slot. Only one free parking pass will be given out per family.
Volunteers are required to remain at the June Tull 4-H building until their shift is completed. There is a slight overlap with next shift to share information about the experience.
If you have questions please contact 745-3360.
