VP A-Team Angels

PTO Board Member responsible for managing many of the in school activities and providing support to our teachers and office staff.

Room Parent Coordinator

Assist with filling Room Parent and Classroom Level Volunteer Positions. Act as a point of contact for Room Parents regarding teacher/staff birthdays, communication. and other information.

Library Volunteer Coordinator

Work with Ms. Stump to coordinate volunteers for reading to Kindergarten and First Grade classes and to keep the library organized.

Milk Parent Chair

Coordinate milk parent volunteers. Sign up genius is used to organize and track volunteers.

Lunch Room / Milk Parent Sub

There are times when a last minute sub is needed. This is a great opportunity to fill in but not commit to a regular monthly shift. By signing up, you will receive an email when there is a need for a sub and can sign up if you are available.

Staff Appreciation Chair

Lead the committee that is adding special touches for the staff and showing our thanks. Activities include: luncheons, teacher appreciation days, stocking the lounge. **Chair should be a committee member from prior year.**

Staff Appreciation Committee (6)

This committee allows you the opportunity to meet the staff of NPS and most importantly a chance to thank them. The committee will coordinate luncheons and look for other opportunities throughout the year to let the staff know we care.

School Supply Chair

Work with teachers and school supply company in the spring to determine and implement changes to school supply lists. Coordinate student volunteers in August to inventory and distribute school supply shipment.

School Supply Step Up Chair

Assist and learn fom Amy Tryban who has been the school supply Chair and plan to take over the Chair role in 2021.

Book Fair Chairs (2)

October/November - Work with Scholastic,Ms. Stump and Book Fair Volunteers to organize the annual Colleen Conway Holloway Book Fair.

November: Help Book Fair chair as needed with set up, clean up and work shifts during Book Fair school hours November 4th - 8th.

New Uniforms/Spirit Wear Chair

Primary contact for Uniform/Spirit Wear vendor. Work with school staff as any uniform offerings are updated.

Used Uniform Chair

Coordinate the collection, cleaning and storage of donated uniforms and spirit wear. Coordinate volunteers to work at Quick Visits.

Coordinated by the Chairs listed above - Organize and wash uniforms that have been donated by school families. Committee members will need to organize and staff the "Uniform Exchange" at Quick Visits.

Vision & Hearing Chairs (2)

August - Work with the school nursing staff as needed to coordinate volunteers for the Vision & Hearing Screening, which normally takes place in the fall. Exact date will be set by the Blue Valley School District.

August - Be present during the screening to assist school nursing staff in the movement of students relative to the screening. Screening normally occurs in the fall, but the exact date is determined by the Blue Valley school district

On Call Angels

An opportunity to help out at school for special events, primarily during the school day. Examples of activities from last year include: hanging student art work before art fair, assisting at pep rally....

Nativity Bakers

Nativity Bakers are on call to provide baked goods and/or other treats for PTO events on an as needed basis. The VP of A-team Angels will email the committee when items are needed.

VP Stewardship

PTO Board Member responsible for managing stewardship activities for NPS including classroom projects, fall festival baskets, red bag and submittance of student hours.

Fall Festival Basket Chairs (2)

These chairs are responsible for contacting all classroom Fall Festival Basket Coordinators to organize, coordinate and communicate the basket donation efforts for the S2R Fall Festival Basket Raffle in August and September.

Red Bag Chairs (2)

November / December - each classroom will have 2 parent Red Bag coordinators. Your role is to provide them with wish lists, assist them in coordinating gift collection and wrap day, and coordinate delivery of gifts to the Red Bag facility.

VP Guiding Shepherds

PTO Board member responsible for managing the actvities that welcome preschoolers, kindergartners and new families to NPS.

First Friday Donuts (6)

Organize donuts and drinks for all students following mass on the First Friday of each month. Committee will decide best way to divide up responsibilities each month including: picking up donuts, drinks, setup, and clean up

1st Day of School Balloon Arch Coordinator (2)

Create balloon arch for first day of school to welcome students and teachers. Coordinate purchasing balloons also. Takes apx 2 hours. Older kids can help for service hours.

Kindergarten/New Family Welcome Chair

Primary goal is to provide a warm welcome to families who are new to NPS, which includes kindergartners . Also, organize volunteers for 8th grade graduation yard signs. **Chair should be a committee member from prior year.**

Assist chair in organizing activities to welcome all new families and the incoming kindergarten class. This includes: kindergarten summer popsicles and play, 1st day of school welcome signs, monthly emails, 8th grade graduation signs

Kindergarten Coffee (2)

Organize coffee for kindergarten parents on 1st Day of School, August 14th at 8:00 a.m.

Dayschool (Preschool) Coffee Committee (2)

August 13th- Organize coffee/welcome for day school parents on August 13th

Preschool Liaison

PTO Board Member (non-voting). Act as a link between Preschool Families and PTO.

VP Social

PTO Board Member responsible for managing the PTO sponsored school social events. The VP will oversee the Chairpersons and makes sure that the events stay on track and on budget

Quick Visit Social Chairs (2)

August 12th - Plan and coordinate the Social activities in conjunction with Quick Visits including refreshments (Kona Ice) and music.

Middle School Back to School Night Refreshment Coordinator (2)

August 20th - Programming of Back to School Night is organized by Nativity staff. Your role is to provide refreshments (donated wine and light appetizers) during the Middle School Event only.

Trunk or Treat Chairs (2)

Plan the Trunk or Treat event scheduled for October 22nd. Run the event that night and organize security volunteers

October 22nd - Coordinated by the Chairs listed above - Be present the night of the event to assist with set up, safety and clean up. Great opportunity for dads!

VIP Day Refreshment Coordinators (2)

January 31st - Coordinate refreshments (coffee and baked goods) during VIP day. Setup and Clean up refreshment stations on VIP Day.

Catholic Schools Week Open House Committee (3)

January 26th - Responsible for planning/getting the refreshments (donuts and coffee) and setting up/cleaning up for CSW kick-off after Sunday mass.

Trivia Night Chairs (2)

February 1st- Plan and organize Nativity Trivia Night.

February 1st- Coordinated by the Chairs listed above - assist with planning Trivia Night as needed, and/or be present to assist with the Trivia Night event, set up and/or clean up

Mother/Son Dodgeball Chairs (2)

Plan and implement the mother/son dodgeball tournament on March 10th

School Picnic Chairs (2)

Coordiante and plan all school picnic on School Olympics day, May 15th.
