There are a variety of opportunities listed on this page. Some are activities that are ongoing throughout the school year and others are one-time events. Some positions involve your presence at school while others can be done from home. You're sure to find something that's the right fit for you!

VP A-Team Angels

PTO Board Member responsible for managing many of the in school activities and providing support to our teachers and office staff.

Room Parent Coordinator

Assist with filling Room Parent and Classroom Level Volunteer Positions. Act as a point of contact for Room Parents regarding teacher/staff birthdays, communication. and other information.

Library Volunteer Coordinator

Work with Ms. Stump to coordinate volunteers for reading to Kindergarten and First Grade classes and to keep the library organized.

Milk Parent Chair

Coordinate milk parent volunteers. Sign up genius is used to organize and track volunteers.

 

Lunch Room / Milk Parent Sub

There are times when a last minute sub is needed. This is a great opportunity to fill in but not commit to a regular monthly shift. By signing up, you will receive an email when there is a need for a sub and can sign up if you are available.

Staff Appreciation Chair

Lead the committee that is adding special touches for the staff and showing our thanks. Activities include: luncheons, teacher appreciation days, stocking the lounge. **Chair should be a committee member from prior year.**

School Supply Chair

Work with teachers and school supply company in the spring to determine and implement changes to school supply lists. Coordinate student volunteers in August to inventory and distribute school supply shipment.

August - Work with the school nursing staff as needed to coordinate volunteers for the Vision & Hearing Screening, which normally takes place in the fall. Exact date will be set by the Blue Valley School District.
