Tai Chi in the Park Sept 22

Outdoor Tai Chi at Infirmary Mound Park:  @ 6PM Shelter 3 area (Shelter 2 if bad weather), FREE

PRE-Registration is mandatory and social distancing guidelines will be followed strictly. Spots are limited.

Chi is a Chinese word that translates to “life force energy”. Life Force Energy is said to ride on the breath and flows through energy pathways in the body called meridians. These pathways can become sluggish or even blocked resulting in dis-ease of the body, mind, and spirit. The practices of Tai Chi and Qi Gong are slow, mindful movements designed to remove blockages and open up these energy pathways allowing this life force energy to flow freely. Like a river, when flowing freely ,the water is fresh, and nourishing, when blocked, the water becomes stale, and stagnant. Tai Chi and Qi Gong also provide gentle stretching and range of motion to the muscles and joints of the physical body, and participants will quickly notice an improvement in their balance, and a lift in their mood.
