St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church
Last year at this time we were encouraging each other to pray in the words of Corrie ten Boom, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” As I sit here today, writing to you one year later, I’d say that our known God has provided hope. In the Bible, hope is defined as “ the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His faithfulness.” And so, together we move in to spring with lots of opportunities to come together celebrating our hope with the confident expectation that God has a plan for His family of believers; strengthened together by the words of God in Jeremiah 33:11, “...and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord, saying, “Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.”” He is good indeed! Amen
