Blanchet (pronounced Blan-shay) House is a nonprofit social services organization located in downtown Portland. They provide food, clothing, and housing programs to people in need.
Please committ to making 10 simple bagged lunches containing a sandwich, piece of fruit, and a purchased wrapped snack. These lunches allow Blanchet House to provide nutritious meals to people in between their scheduled hot meal services and during interruptions to regular service. Their staff will hand out the lunches you make at their facility in downtown Portland and share them with partner shelters in need of meals.
On Friday, January 22, JT Nies will swing by to pick up your family’s contribution at your house. Your phone number and address are required to sign up so she can give a heads up when en route and keep it contact free! Your phone number and address will not be seen by other participants. Also, please note that when signing up, it will ask you to select a quantity. Qty 1 = 10 lunches, QTY 2 = 20 lunches, etc.
As a community, we’re scheduled to deliver 100 to 200 lunches the morning of Saturday, January 23. Thank you for all that you do to give back to those who need it most!
