Celebrate Liberation at the Congregation Beth Israel Community Passover Seder led by Rabbinic Intern Janine Jankovitz Pastor.
Thursday, April 9, 2020 @ 5:45 pm.
This is a Potluck Seder this year !
We are asking everyone to share the work on preparing/bringing the ritual seder foods and dishes to have for dinner that night. We are asking each group of 1-3 people that RSVPs to bring something that will feed approximately 10 - 20 people in seder or dinner food. We tried to keep the items listed close to equal in cost or labor. For up to 3 people in your RSVP group, please choose at least one item below to bring. If you are RSVPing for a larger party, please choose multiple items so that we make sure we have enough of everything.
Remember to also RSVP/pay on the BI website. The nominal fee covers the cost of paper goods, seder plates and decorations.
All food should be dairy or vegetarian, using kosher for Passover ingredients. Nothing should contain meat or shellfish. Fish is OK!
For main dishes, beans and rice are OK. Please label food ingredients so that people can find dishes they are able to eat. If you have any questions about what you want to bring, please ask a rabbi or RPC chair.
We will need help with set up and clean up that evening. Be prepared to pitch in before and after the seder.
