January 2019 Updated
This is the list of events that we will be staffing for the 2018-2019 season for Levy at Gila River Arena! There could be more added, but this is what is on the schedule so far.
Please only sign up for the events that you can definitely commit to at this time. If you aren't sure if your available now, please wait until you know for sure. You can always add if and when your schedule opens and you become available.
All volunteers are required to purchase their own uniform shirt and hat. If you need a shirt and hat, please put that in the comments when you sign up for an event, including your shirt size. The cost of the shirt and hat will be deducted from your Booster Club account. (Shirt $35, Hat $8)
This season, we are contracted to staff 4 stands, with the opportunity to staff additional positions when needed. We will be staffing Stand 102, Bar 104P, AYCE 109, and Stand 110. We need 27 to 30 volunteers for each game to staff our contracted booths, plus a goal of 7 extra volunteers to staff an extra booth.
*Dress Code: Black Casual/slack work pants(no jeans/leggings/jegging,etc), All Black-Non slip work shoes, black socks(ankle or trouser), Black Belt. White undershirt for everyone, except bartenders need long sleeved white collared dress shirts. Shirts/hats/vests/ties will be issued at each event. Shirts must be tucked in. Long hair tied up and no jewelry(sm. stud earrings and wedding ring only)
***Dress Code is non-negotiable...however, it is a reimbursable expense out of what you earn. There are lots of opportunities to work events here and most of the dress code carries on to the other venues as well. So, it is worth the money to spend, to have the opportunities to earn more later.
*Online Levy Alcohol test required(21 yrs and up to cashier/bartend)
*Food Handlers Certificate is Required! Request a prepaid voucher by email.
*Limited spots for 18 to 20 year old volunteers! Please put down if you are under 21, so we don't schedule you in the booth with alcohol.
You can find the information on the website at www.wvsabc.com to make sure that you have everything necessary to volunteer.
***ALL venue policies/procedures must be followed at all times or you will be requested to leave and no longer have the opportunity to volunteer with the club at this facility and possibly any other facility that we may participate at. Policies are on the website for each venue and can also be obtained at each venue when requested if you have not read them. It is the responsibility of each volunteer to make sure they know these policies.
