Set agenda, lead monthly meetings, coordinate other responsibilities as needed by school/teachers. Meet 1x per month with SRACS teachers, administration, and fellow parents to give input and work on SRACS activities, fundraising, and allocation of funds

Work with SFPO and office to communicate fundraiser, collect donations, and communicate with families regarding required donation paperwork

 

Auction/Dinner Coordinators (3)

SRACS Auction/Dinner will be held on 2/XX/21. Coordinators are needed to oversee all aspects of the event including site/venue logistics, catering/food, decorations, tickets/communication, children activities, and auction donations

 

Advisory Committee/ Site Council (3)

Meet 1x per month with SRACS administration and faculty to give input and work on policy and initiatives relevant to SRACS current activities and the future of school.

6th Grade Promotion Co-ordinators (2)

Lead a team to provide food logistics, decorations, flower collection, set-up, and clean-up of 6th grade promotion and brunch. Information binder from past promotions available in SRACS office for insight and reference. Promotion is on June 3.

Variety of roles such as set-up and flower collection and arrangement the day before (June 2), and set-up, food arrangement/services, and clean-up at 6th grade promotion on June 3 (promotion is 10-12)

 

Box Top/eScrip Coordinator (2)

Work with SFPO to manage Box Tops and eScrip programs, collect materials, coordinate websites and accounts.

 

Dine and Donate Coordinator

Work with SFPO and restaurants to set up school dine and donate fundraisers. Can be done from home (mostly telephone/computer work). Takes about 10 hours in summer (choose restaurants, develop calendar & flyers) and some follow up throughout the year.

Emergency Preparedness Prep

Assist teachers/office with updating classroom emergency supplies (i.e. water, granola bars, first aid) in the beginning of the year, work with AC committee to communicate emergency plan to families.

Supervise play at 7:45/8:00 to 8:15. Please write in comments which days you are available to help.

Yearbook Coordinator- 6th Grade

Work with Lifetouch and coordinate team of parents to design, develop, and distribute yearbook. Mentor 5th Grade Yearbook Coordinator. Past yearbooks are in SRACS office for reference.

 

Yearbook Layout- 6th Grade

Use collected photos to assist in the design and layout of yearbook.

 

Yearbook Coordinator- 5th Grade

Work with Lifetouch and coordinate team of parents to design, develop, and distribute yearbook. Past yearbooks are in SRACS office for reference. Ideally, this person would be willing to co-coordinate yearbook for 2 years.

Assist boys basketball coach with logistics such as scheduling gym for practices and games, distributing and collecting paperwork and uniforms, etc. (No basketball knowledge necessary!). Season runs early November through end of February.

Assist in coaching, coordination, uniform distribution and collection, and other tasks as needed. Coaches meetings and practice start in early November and season runs through end of February.

 

Girls Basketball Coach

Coach girls basketball practice and games. Coordinate gym times, practices times, game times. Season runs mid-February through mid-April. Coach must be in place by October 15 or season will be cancelled.
