Gamm Usher Sign Up Sheet
adapted by Joe Landry
George, Clarence, and the entire town of Bedford Falls come to life in this staged 1940s radio broadcast of Frank Capra’s holiday movie classic. With live sound effects and a handful of actors, the story of beleaguered building and loan owner George Bailey, and his affable helper angel, Clarence, unfolds one fateful Christmas Eve as you’ve never seen it before. This captivating, life-affirming story is a holiday treat for the entire family!?
"One of the best holiday shows around. . . . A fresh and inventive way of reconnecting with a classic story of love and redemption." Chicago Sun-Times?
"A well-loved tale told with style, charm and a heart so big it could burst the ribcage of the harshest Grinch." Chicago Tribune
Ushers are to arrive one hour prior to performance time. The start time below is the exact time that we would like you to report to the theatre. The end time lets you know when you are done unless you are staying for the show.
If we are sold out and no seating is available, please see the box office manager that evening to make arrangements to see the show at another time.
It is important that you adhere to The Gamm's dress code (no exceptions): plain white dress shirt and black slacks for men, plain white blouse and black slacks/skirt for women.
If you can't make it to a shift, please call the box office as far in advance as possible (401-723-4266) to let us know. We really rely on all of you. You help make the show start on time, which is such an important part of the process.
It's always fun to do things with a partner so ask a friend to tag along! If you know of anyone that may be interested in ushering please forward this link on or let me know and I will contact them. If you don't stay for the show you're only committing an hour of your time, which is so appreciated by both the Gamm staff and the patrons. We do, however, encourage you to stay for the show if there are seats available!
