As part of UU Nashua's Ending Hunger and Homelessness Project, we serve a Community Dinner on the 3rd Sunday of every month. The hope is that this meal will help fill the "food insecurity" gap in our community. Everyone is welcome to come get a hot meal & share fellowship. We publicize the dinner through a monthly mailing sent to various local non-profit agencies, as well as at the Nashua Soup Kitchen. This is not just a meal for the homeless, this is for anyone who has an issue making ends meet, families who are struggling to put food on their table, or anyone who would like to enjoy heartwarming company in a wonderfully friendly environment. We often have quiet background music provided by volunteers. And during spring and summer months, we have a bike clinic available outside. We need volunteers to make all this work. Please consider donating your time to any one (or more) of these tasks to make these dinners successful.

Youth under the age of 15 are to be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian at all times. For our youth's safety, due to the large number moving parts and pieces and potential dangerous situations, they are not allowed in the kitchen during meal preparation/cooking, set up and serving. We will evaluate having youth in the kitchen during clean up on a case by case situation. Please feel free to spread the word to your friends, family members, scout groups, covenant groups, book clubs, etc. We need many, many volunteers to share the work load and make these dinners successful.
