Georgetown Sunday Dinners

Please sign  up to provide food and volunteer to assist at the Georgetown Sunday Dinners for our unhoused neighbors, at Georgetown Presbyterian Church (GPC), Georgetown, 3115 P Street NW, on any of the dates listed, from approximately 4:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

If preferred, you can just provide food and you do not need to volunteer to assist at the dinner. You can drop food off at GPC any time up to 4:30 pm. on Sunday afternoon or, on Sunday morning when you attend the worship service, you can give it to Victoria Tigwell, or Pat Davies, or you can leave it in the kitchen at GPC and, if necessary, put it in the refrigerator or the freezer. Please make sure that is is clearly marked that it is for GSD, what it is, and who it is from. We might also be able to pick up the food from your house if necessary.

Please sign up to provide one or more of the listed food items. Items do not have to be exactly as listed. If you would rather provide something different, e.g. chili instead of beef casserole, please indicate this in the comments column. If you can, please select at least two or more of the slots.  Food must be thoroughly cooked before it is brought to the church, and preferably still hot if you bring it just before the dinner. 

If you would like to bring a family member or friend to volunteer with you who will not be bringing food, please indicate this in the comments column and send Victoria Tigwell ([email protected]) or Pat Davies ([email protected]) an email to advise the name of the person. The number of volunteers is limited, and we need to know exactly who will attend so that we can manage the number of volunteers and assign tasks in advance.
