Short Hill Historical Society
For the second year in a row, we will have a trip to the Burnt Mill! We are pleased to welcome back historian Rich Gillespie for a talk he calls, "The Power of Symbolism in our Burnt Mill: Autumn, 1859 - Another Moment in Time for A Local Landmark." After the talk, you may take time to explore the remains of the mill and miller's house. The trip and talk will be held Sunday, October 21 at 4 p.m.
Light refreshments will be provided. Bring your own chair and dress appropriately for the weather. Park in the field off of the driveway at 15250 Cider Mill Road. A suggested donation of $5 a person is welcome. You may also bring a jack o'lantern to be placed at the mill.
