Kenosha Area Pipes & Drums Association, Inc.
Dear KAPDA supporter:
The 2020 Kenosha Krawl is fast approaching and we will once again be bringing the traditional music of the bagpipes and drums to the festivities of St. Patrick’s Day. Throughout our 17-year history, we have received overwhelming support from the Kenosha community and from establishments such as yours. Each year the Krawl has grown and has transformed into a community celebration.
As the event itself has developed, so has the means by which we organize, invoice, schedule, and route our performances. When the big days arrive, we would like to minimize the business aspect of our appearance and allow everyone to focus on having a good time. Last year was the first time we used solely an online system to organize our application process and make route selections. It was a huge success, so we will be doing it once again.
Please share this link with those establishments who you feel would like to submit an application. We will NOT be sending out individual invitation emails this year.
Over the course of two days, Saturday, March 14, 2020 AND Tuesday, March 17, 2020, there will be many performance times from which to select, but space is limited and no guarantees can be made. Each time slot within the online application will allow an unlimited number of applicants so, even if another establishment has already requested a specific slot, please submit your request as well. SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY IS A REQUEST ONLY. NO GUARANTEES FOR A PERFORMANCE ARE BEING MADE.
Performance selections will be made based on event routing, time constraints, and the needs of the band
