Safe Community Coalition
Starting on March 6th and running through March 27th the Safe Community Coalition will hold 4 half-day programs on ethical decision making for McLean area 6th grade students. This 19th annual Sixth Grade Ethics Day will work with over 1,100 students from 8 area schools. It will take place at Holy Trinity Church (850 Balls Hill Rd, McLean) from 9:30am-1:00pm each day.
6th Grade Ethics Day is designed to help prepare students for the transition to middle school by providing strategies to help them work through ethical decisions in all aspects of their lives: socially, academically, and within their own families.
Please consider volunteering your time and energy to lead a group of 8-10 students during this important program. You will receive program materials to review in advance, and there is a 30-minute orientation on the program day (9:30-10am) to familiarize you with the program and allow time for questions.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Melissa Sporn at [email protected]
Thank you in advance for volunteering your time for our students!
