Burke Gives Back
Twice a month the Wedgewood Community Center in Annandale (7615 McWhorter Pl., Annandale, 22003) receives food from Food For Others and distributes it to families in the neighborhood. Volunteers meet at the center and then:
- Unload the van and move the food up the elevator to the community center.
- Organize the food and help distribute it to families.
Masking and social distancing protocols are observed. Number of people in the community center is regulated by the staff there.
