2020 Texas MS 150 CERT Recruitment List
At the National MS Society, our top priority is — and always will be — the health and well-being of the MS community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will safeguard those living with MS, and those riding to end MS.
Therefore the MS Society is taking an even bolder step to protect the health and safety of our community by not holding any in-person events through May 17. We will instead reimagine these events, taking a variety of approaches to share progress and engage with each other through creative and virtual gatherings.
This means we won’t hold the traditional Bike MS: Texas MS 150 ride in 2020.
Instead, we will continue to fuel life-changing breakthroughs for people affected by MS through virtual fundraising. And, coming soon, we will announce an exclusive one-day event to be held this fall—a coming together of our extraordinary Bike MS: Texas MS 150 family to celebrate our progress. And, yes, cycling will be involved and volunteers will remain an essential part of our event.
As more details are finalized, we will post more about ways that you can be involved in this unique experience. Of course, we would also love to have your help with the 2021 Bike MS: Texas MS 150! Save the date, April 30th – May 2nd 2021.
A great way that you can continue to make an impact is through virtual fundraising. We encourage you to visit ms150.org and use our Fundraising Center to send emails to friends and family. You can also share your story by starting a Facebook Fundraiser. For those in need of community service hours, we are happy to verify hours related to virtual fundraising efforts. It is a great way to stay involved with the event and allows you to continue making a difference where it matters most. People with MS are counting on us to do whatever it takes, and we are here for them.
