2019 Book Sale Volunteers
We need your help at the 2019 Winter Used Book Sale at Denver Central Library!
The winter sale attracts thousands of people to Denver Public Library and raises over $45,000 for library programs. There are opportunities to help set up and manage our daily operations from November 18 - November 23, 2019. The VIP Member Preview Sale is on Tuesday, November 19 from 5:30 p.m.– 7:30 p.m. We open to the public on Wednesday, November 20 at 10 a.m. If you sign up for closing help on Saturday, November 23 you get a free box of books.
Denver Public Library and Lyft have partnered to get you to and from the Winter Used Book Sale! Use code: WINTERDPL19 and get an affordable ride in minutes with Lyft. Consider Lyft or public transportation for this event. If you choose to park in the 12th Ave Cultural Center Garage, we will provide you with a 5-hour voucher when you arrive in the B2 Conference Center. There will be paver renovation work happening on the West end of the Central Library, but there is access through the West door. Fear not!
All volunteers, teachers and Denver Public Library staff receive a 25% discount during the sale (not including the Red Chair Bookshop.) Sandwiches will be provided by Levan's Deli.
