2020 Fish Fry Volunteers

2020 ST C FISH FRY VOLUNTEER FRIDAY

The 2020 STC Booster Fish Fry kicks off Friday, February 28, 2020.   This is our ONLY FUNDRAISING EVENT that the St. Columban Boosters have and ask for your assistance.   

It is extremely important that this event is successful each year because it funds our Booster Athletic Program.  That success is only achieved by all of our parishioners and sports families volunteering to help.  We have several different options to allow for flexibility for those that need it.  All families with children participating in our sports programs are required to volunteer for 1 week per sport program participated  & 1 week of volunteering with their sport for their assigned for cleanup.  Each sport program is assigned 1 Friday to own cleanup.  These are two separate volunteering activities so please plan accordingly.  

PLEASE INITAL THE SIGN IN SHEET POSTED IN THE KITCHEN EACH WEEK UPON ARRIVING.

Sport Cleanup Weeks Assigned:  

Friday Feb 28 - Girls' Basketball

Friday Mar 06 - Football

Friday Mar 13 - Track & Cross Country

Friday Mar 20 - Cheer & Dance & Boys' Basketball

Friday Mar 27 - Boys' Volleyball & Golf

Friday Apr 03 - Girls' Volleyball

The Worker and Sub positions are specific to the active time for the event.  The other shifts are either to assist with preparation prior to the event start and closing of the event.  We ask that all of our sports families participate in this event.  Unfortunately, there is no baby-sitting provided for this event and children are NOT permitted in the food service area.  However, your family is more than welcome to join us in the dining room for great food, beverages, and atmosphere.

Please see the volunteer assignment list posted in the kitchen and sign in.  This will provide your assigned work area.  Below will be the duties for the assigned work area.  If you have any question regarding the instruction, please see Rorie, Erin, or Michelle.

Sub positions are to help us fill slots for the event when folks have a last minute conflict.  While we do not anticipate many of these situations, life happens.  Please make sure that if you sign-up to sub that you are available those dates through the start of the event. 

8th Grade Volunteers are encouraged to participate. They will get volunteer hours for their time.  These will not be listed on the signup - please see Mrs. Richardson for details.

We are very blessed to have Rorie Hais and Erin Sunderman, as our chairs again this year, as well as belong to such a great volunteer community at St. Columban.  We are welcoming Elizabeth Richardson as our new co-chair!!!   If you any questions, please email Rorie @ [email protected].
