OLL Parent Volunteer Opportunities 2019

Here at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, parent involvement is not only a requirement, it's an opportunity!  We hope you will embrace this opportunity to connect with students, teachers and other parents in our community.  There are opportunities to fit a variety of schedules, including working from home.  

Please check all options that you might be interested in helping out with this year and the Chair or Project Coordinator we will get in contact with you.  Thank you for your involvement, many hands make for light work! 

Please note, if you are planning to work in the classroom or with students, you will need to be up to date on the "Safe Environment" training and have a current, cleared background check on file.

Produce a classroom project to be auctioned off at the upcoming auction. Must be available for a few hours a couple of days to coordinate the project in Classroom. Projects due Feb 1st.

 

Auction Data Entry, Jan-March 1, 2019 Flexible Hours, Work From Home Option (3)

Enter donated Auction items into our Greater Giving Auction software Program. Must be detail oriented. Many hours are needed for this major task!

 

Auction Procurement Team, Jan-March 1, 2019 Flexible Hours, Work From Home Option (5)

Follow up with donors/businesses to solicit donations for the Auction. Many hours are needed, work can be done from home.

We are seeking a detail oriented individual to manage the overall procurement process managing & updating the master procurement sheet, identifying key donors & OLL contacts. Many hours are available for this vital position. Work can be done from home.

 

Raffle Committee, Jan 21-March 1, 2019 Flexible Hours, Work From Home Option (5)

Members of the raffle committee will help promote raffle ticket sales in the weeks leading up to the Auction and assist raffle chairs in organizing pre sale payments and delivery of tickets to school office for families not attending the Auction.

 

AV/Digital Presentation CHAIR, Jan 21-March 1, 2019 Flexible Hours, Work From Home Option

Work with Paddle Raise Promotions Chair & Events Coordinator to create a Silent Auction, Live Auction & Paddle Raise Slideshow utilizing student photos, live auction items, sponsor logos & paddle raise themes.

 

Auction Volunteer Room Coordinators, A few hours in Feb and 3/2/2019 3-9pm (2)

Create a Sign Up Genius for Auction Day Potluck in Volunteer Room. Manage the Volunteer Room (volunteer check in, tidy up, keep perishable food on ice, stock beverages etc). A few hours are needed prior to the Auction to coordinate + Event Day 3-9pm

 

Silent Auction Packaging on 2/27, 2/28 & 3/1 at OLL (5)

Assist Silent Auction Chairs with packaging items 2/27, 2/28 & 3/1 at OLL Parish Lounge.

Assist Transportation Chair with loading up items at OLL at 8:00am Auction Day (3/2) & delivering/unloading items at The Hilton Hotel. A few members will be needed to bring items back to OLL Sunday morning 3/3.

Assist the Decorations Chair with decorating the Auction space on Auction day. 3/2 Hours available between 9am-3pm.

Deliver all Silent Auction Bid Sheets to the cashiers for processing as sections close. Organize all purchased items in retrieval bags for pick up. Retrieve & deliver items to bidders at Check Out. 3/2 4pm-11:30pm

 

Registration/Check Out Desk 3/2 3:00pm-11:00pm Hilton Hotel (4)

Check all guests into & out of the Auction via our Greater Giving Auction Software Program. Input all sales for Auction into our GG system. Ten Key familiarity a plus, must have excellent customer service skills! Training provided 3/2 3pm-11:00pm

Auction Day Clean Up 3/2 8:30am-10:30am OLL Parish Lounge (2)

Clean & straighten up the OLL Parish Lounge after the transportation team leaves for Auction site. 3/2 8:30am-10:30am
