MLK Community Coalition of Lebanon
Students can participate in The MLK March on Sunday, January 20th. The community and all churches in the city are invited to gather at 12:45 pm at Lebanon Presbyterian, 123 N. East Street, Lebanon, Ohio.
The march will travel down Warren Street, south on Broadway, north on Mulberry, then back to East Street to Lebanon Presbyterian Church for a reception.
The march was created to show solidarity with other communities across the country that honor the King Holiday with a traditional civil rights march promoting unity, justice, and peace.
To earn community service credit hours, students will need to sign in at the beginning of the event and sign out at the conclusion of the event. Volunteer coordinators will be onsite to sign school forms at the end of their community service. Students are also encouraged to seek extra credit assignments on their own by coordinating directly with their teachers.
STUDENTS: Please bring the completed student permission slip to the MLK March. Click here to download the form.
