COVID-19 Procedures and New Rules
All volunteers must be 14+ and feeling well. If you are not feeling well or have any symptoms of coronavirus, please stay home. Please bring your own mask(s). Volunteers arrive between 8-8:30 am and the cupboard is open to guests from 9 am until 10 am. Old First aims to provide a healthy to-go breakfast along with clothing and toiletries that are offered on a rotating basis due to coronavirus safety measures.

Saturday AM Leader - This volunteer opportunity is held by members of Old First who are trained and are the contact person on the designated day.
Breakfast Team: There will be no cooking on-site until September 1,2021. Any fresh/hot food must be prepared at home and brought to Old First the week of (usually on Thursday or Friday) or the day of (Saturday) between 8-8:30 am. We ask that groups who sign up for this slot prepare 35-40 bags for distribution. Please do not include pork/bacon on these.
Please note that the kitchen will open to volunteers beginning September 1,2021
Volunteers (8:00 am to 10 am) - Our clothing cupboard functions as a “free store,” offering as much dignity and choice as possible given the availability of donations from week to week. Our clothing volunteers are responsible for breakfast distribution, sorting, and assisting our guests with finding a new outfit and picking toiletries.
