Cub Scout Pack 227
Den leaders and parents, one of the more fun and definitely less time-consuming service projects that Pack 227 participates in is “Donut Duty”. As most of you know, we only have to do this about 4 times a year.
We just need 2 parents and 2 Cub Scouts to work a 90 minute shift at the Duffy Center. The shifts include set up on Saturday afternoon/evening at your convenience and Sunday morning after the 8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:00 am Sunday masses. One parent and Scout collect money and the other parent and Scout pour juice. The best part of the deal is that you get free donuts/drinks/coffee! Our next “Donut Duty” is Sunday, October 31 at the Duffy Center Parish Hall.
You do not need to be a member of St. Bonaventure Church to sign up. In fact, we encourage participation from everyone. All we need is a total of 6 parents and 6 Scouts for 3 short shifts. Scouts need to be in full “Class A” uniform and parents can wear Pack 227 red activity shirts if they so desire.
Yours in Scouting
