Cub Scout Pack 227
Den leaders and parents, one of the more fun and definitely less time consuming service projects that Pack 227 participates in is “Donut Duty”. As most of you know, we only have to do this 3-4 times a year. We just need two parents and two Cub Scouts to work a quick 40 minute shift at the Duffy Center after the 7:30 am, 9:00 am and 10:30 am Sunday masses. One parent and Scout collect donated money and the other parent and Scout pour juice. The best part of the deal is that you each get a free donut/drink/coffee! Our next “Donut Duty” is this Sunday, Feb. 17.
You do not need to be a member of St. Bonaventure Church to sign up. In fact, we encourage participation from everyone. All we need is a total of 6 parents and 6 Scouts for three short shifts. Scouts need to be in full “Class A” Uniform. Parents can wear their red activity shirt if they so desire. Again, please note that during church renovation masses will be held inside the Parish Hall so donuts will be served in the Duffy Center which is located across the parking lot next to the SBS lunch tables. Please help us!
