Cub Scout Pack 227
Den Leaders and Parents,
Our Annual Blue and Gold Dinner will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16th beginning at 6:00 pm at the Elks Lodge located at 7711 Talbert Ave., Huntington Beach 92648.
This dinner is a "Celebration of Scouting" in which most of our Arrow of Light Scouts "bridge" over to Boy Scouts. It is a family event for the entire Pack. We encourage Cub Scouts from all ranks (including Lions) and their families to attend. Grandparents and other relatives are welcome. This year our theme is “Building a Future With Scouts”. Entertainment will be provided by Bricks 4 Kidz. www.bricks4kidz.com
The St. Bonaventure Men's Club will again be cooking hamburgers and hot dogs and we will also provide baked beans.
We are asking that parents of Scouts from the different ranks please bring the following:
- Lions and Tigers bring bottled water, juice boxes or soda.
- Wolves and Bears bring fruit salad, pasta salad or other salad.
- Webelos 1’s bring cupcakes, cookies, brownies, etc. (individual items are easier to serve) for dessert.
The cost is only $5 per person ($20 max per family). Children 5 and under are free. Checks should be made payable to “Pack 227”. Checks should be given to me at the Jan. 14th Pack meeting , or to your Den Leader at a den meeting or to the St. Bonaventure School (NOT THE PARISH) Office (If you go this route then checks should be placed in an envelope marked “Pack 227 - Blue and Gold Dinner” asked to be placed in their Pack 227 Cub Scout Folder) or you can mail or drop them off to me at 4841 Curtis Circle, HB 92649. The deadline to RSVP and get us your check is Friday, Feb 8, 2019.
