Cub Scout Pack 227
Parents, the annual St. Bonaventure Parish Festival will be held from Friday, Oct. 12 to Sunday, Oct. 14. Pack 227 is again in charge of organizing and running the Dime Toss Booth which historically has been a big moneymaker for the church. St. Bonaventure Parish has been a great supporter of Pack 227 since its inception and allows us to use their facilities free of charge. Therefore, we ask that each Scout and a parent (regardless of whether you are a member of St. Bonaventure Parish) sign up for a single 2 hour shift. In particular, we would ask that you consider volunteering for one of the late afternoon or eveningshifts on Friday and Saturday as they are the busiest times. Scouts collect dimes on the ground (and should wear long pants) and parents make change. Parents and Scouts should wear their Pack 227 red activity shirts.
Working the booth is a lot of fun. You are sure to meet lots of friends and acquaintances. Moreover, it helps St. Bonaventure raise some much needed funds. Part of Scouting is to provide service to others. Now is your chance. Please help us make this year’s Dime Toss Booth a success. Here is the link to sign up.
