Beth Israel of Chester County - 2018

Sukkot Under the Stars & Potluck Dinner

Potluck Dairy Dinner

Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 6:30 PM

This event is FREE for everyone; donations are graciously accepted

BYOB if you would like wine or beer.

As part of this evening, Families and individuals will decorate a section of the Sukkah. We ask that each family and/or individual to bring picture(s) of family members to hang in the Sukkah.  Each family and/or individual will tell a story or share thought about the person(s) in the picture. We will share family stories. This is a way to really get to know a person or family and to build connections.  There will also be a decorating activity for the kids to do.

Please RSVP by

Tuesday, September 18th.

A salmon main entrée will be provided. Please sign up to bring one or more of the following (specifics listed below):

  • dairy or pareve side dish or dessert; we think for 8-12 people or 1/2 of a steam tray...
  • or if you are short on time, we could use some paper goods...
  • and if the kitchen is not your thing, we are also recruiting volunteers for set-up, decoration and clean-up!

If you choose a warm dish please bring it heated with serving utensil (outside food can not be brought into the kitchen for heating); if you need a sterno please let us know in the comments to your reply.

Bring your Families and Friends!
