Fourth Grade: Buck

Colonial Day / Heritage Luncheon

Colonial Day is a long-time fourth grade tradition looked forward to by the students all year. Each child will bring a dish for the luncheon representing their family's heritage.

Chairpersons will meet with teachers to discuss Colonial Day after students return from Spring Break.

Chairpersons will create a Sign Up Genius for parents to identify the heritage dish they will provide.  Additionally, chairpersons will communicate with classes regarding student colonial costumes.  Chairpersons are responsible for purchasing paper products and drinks for the luncheon.

Lunch will be followed by an afternoon of fourth grade traveling to stations to experience such colonial activities as pillory and candle making.  Mark your calendars now for this not-to-be-missed event.
