The Bridge to Hope Child Enrichment Volunteers
B2H Child Enrichment Ministry
One cannot expect a mother to move forward in her life until she knows in her heart that her children are well cared for with love and safety.
Our mothers at The Bridge to Hope (B2H) participate in SUCCESS Workshop. (Securing and Understanding Concepts to Create Excellence in Self-Sufficiency). During the time our mothers are in their evening programming of growing and learning skills needed to move from homelessness to wholeness, B2H has a program for their children. The Child Enrichment Ministry is a vital aspect of B2H and we need you.
PURPOSE: Assist the Child Enrichment Ministry by offering a loving lap to hold infants, helping a young child make good decisions, working with a child in completing homework, and provide and assisting in serving a healthy snack.
TIME REQUIREMENT: Child Enrichment Volunteers are needed Monday and Tuesday evenings from approximately 5:45 PM - 7:45 PM located at The Bridge to Hope office.
- Empathetic and sensitive to children and their family member
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff and other volunteers
- Youth Volunteers welcomed with an adult
Many of you who have been involved with B2H know that the ages of our children vary. At one time we will have all babies, so what is needed…loving arms to hold and rock a child…another time we will have youngsters that want to sing, play and create. Always needed are those willing to share their evening to provide snack, activities and share Christ’s love. Call The Bridge to Hope (602-589-5556) to determine the ages of the children, so the meal provided can be age appropriate. Sign up today to be placed on as a volunteer to assist in the Child Enrichment Ministry! You may sign up for once a month, once a quarter or just when you can! (GATE CODE: 1234*)
SUPERVISOR: Amy, The Bridge to Hope (email@example.com). You must register with The Bridge to Hope prior to volunteering completing the volunteer packet and have completed a background check (this can be done online).
