Maker Girl Mania

Volunteer for Maker Girl Mania 2019

Maker Girl Mania is a day where girls from Kindergarten through 7th grade come together and become artists, coders, inventors, makers and builders.

There will be over 500 girls participating in this event!  There will be three sessions taking place this day. Each session lasts 2.5 hrs. and repeats with a new set of girls. There will be a 30 minute break between each session. The details are as follows:

Session Times:

  • 8:00 am - 10:30 am
  • 11:00 pm - 1:30 pm
  • 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

To help bring the metal casting experience to young people, the American Foundry Society (AFS) Saginaw Valley Chapter (SVC) presents an educational, hands-on activity called “Foundry in a Box.” Volunteers will help with the casting process.
