SMFA Student Govt. Assoc. (SGA)
The SMFA Student Government Association (SGA) is giving out free SMFA-themed fabric face coverings to welcome our students back to campus! Please read this entire description carefully to ensure fairness and the safety of your fellow students.
Who are these masks for?
These masks are specifically for currently enrolled students at the SMFA. This includes current students of any degree program and does NOT include alumni (sorry!). We have a limited supply of masks and have budgeted for each member of the student body to receive ONE mask. We have also set aside a small number to be distributed to the SMFA studio managers.
What are the masks like?
These are black masks made with a slightly stretchable fabric. The ear loops are nonadjustable and made of the same fabric. The new SMFA logo is printed in white ink on the lower corner of the mask.
How do I sign up to get a mask?
To get a mask, sign up for a time slot on this Signup Genius and show up at that time with your student ID to the Student Affairs desk inside the Dean's suite (2nd floor, B-side) at the main SMFA building (230 The Fenway). If it is more convenient for you to pick up a mask from the Medford campus, look out for the signup on Tufts Tickets to pick up a mask from the Info Booth in the Mayer Campus Center during the week of September 21-25.
We will be distributing masks the week of Sept. 14-18: 12pm-4pm on Mon, and Wed; 10am-4pm on Tues, Thurs, and Friday
Select a 15-minute time slot during which you want to pick up your mask and complete the form with your personal information and contact. You may sign up for one slot; signing up for multiple slots will ensure you do not get any mask from this event! Please set up a personal reminder to pick up your mask.
How do I pick up my mask at the time I signed up for?
Please show up with a student ID. We have created 15-minute time slots for three people maximum to keep the density of our event at a minimum, so you should not have to wait long. We will have one person (a student from the SGA) sitting at the Student Affars window at any given time.
What if I don't want to pick up my mask in person, or I am physically unable to?
Please email us at [email protected] if you are a student who is studying remotely this semester and you would like a mask.
